Mary Velma Ettinger

cousin, aunt, and friend, passed peacefully in her sleep on June 2, 2015. Born August 18,

1932, she was married first to Charles Couvillion and then James Ettinger, both predeceasing

her. Also predeceased by her parents, George Richard and Pearl Pierrottie Monroe, and niece,

Cynthia Breaux. Survived by her sister, Georgiana Breaux; four children, Pamela Couvillion

Walsh Potin, Christine Couvillion Mathis Lemoine (Brian), Dianne Ettinger Varisco (Mike), and

Wendy Ettinger Daigle; six grandchildren, Amie Walsh Kitchen, Nicole Mathis, David Kennedy,

Rachel Varisco, Nicholas Varisco, and Kate Daigle; four great-grandchildren, Aislinn Walsh,

Madison Vinson, Gabriel Kitchen, and Wyatt Kitchen; niece, Tracey Breaux; and numerous

cousins, friends, loved ones, and Kardashians. She gave her life and love to her family, who will

honor her in a memorial service on Saturday, June 6, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA. Visitation

from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., followed by a 3 p.m. memorial service in celebration of her life. Classy

lady of beautiful skin and heart, you, your sass, and your infectious laughter will be dearly
