Mary Louise Favrot died peacefully on December 15 at the age of 87. Daughter of the late Melville and Annie Laura Schmidt. Loving mother of Charles Allen Favrot, Jr. and Louise Favrot Gabriel (John). Beloved grandmother of Elaine Montgomery (James), Philip de la Houssaye (Linda), Lizzie de la Houssaye, Catherine Gabriel, John Gabriel, Carolyn Favrot, and Charles Allen Favrot, III. Great-grandmother of five. "Weezie" was a graduate of Sophie Newcomb College and a member of Phi Mu sorority. She enjoyed her family, working at the JCC Alzheimer's Care and Enrichment Program, buying clothes for her grandchildren, cooking, reading mystery novels, and going to the theater and dinner with her friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Friday, December 19 at 1:00.
