Mary Elizabeth DeSilva Michel born on August 31, 1929 passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the age of 94. She was a secretary for George H. Lehleitner Company. She enjoyed traveling. She is preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Roy J. Michel, Sr.; parents, Frank and Helen DeSilva; sister, Helen Stern; brothers, Frank DeSilva and Joel DeSilva. She is survived by her sons, Roy Michel, Jr., David Michel, and Rene Michel (Dianne); grandchildren, James and Claire Michel. Services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.
