Mary Mercedes Burger Poché passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the age of 95. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Raymond Anthony Poché. Loving mother of Richard A. Poché, Warren L. Poché (Lynn), Raymond P. Poché (Barbara), Patricia Poché Dubos, Carl J. Poché (Lori), and Sandra P. Bradford (James). Grandmother of Richard E. Poché (Micaela), Kelly P. Casey (Kevin), John “Max” Poché, Jillian Poché, Kaylee Poché, Raymond Poché, Ryan Thiele, Julie Thiele, Emily Dubos, Robert Poché, James Poché, Andrew Bradford, Angelle Bradford, William Bradford, Melanie B. Ragusa (Gary), and James Bradford. Great grandmother of Challen Poché, Patrick Casey, Evelyn Casey, Alexander Bradford, Amelie Bradford, Ross Clements, Jeffery Clements, and Avery Bradford. Sister of the late Robert J. Burger, Inez Lohfink, and Ursula Bonanno. Daughter of the late Robert and Helen Fruthaler Burger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:30AM.
