Mary Marsh Willis passed away peacefully February 23, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born in Hot Springs, AR on May 28, 1927 and moved to her beloved New Orleans at age 7. Besides being a real estate agent and a founding member of the Sophie B. Wright High School Invisible Choir, she was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. But her most cherished role was that of mother of 5, grandmother of 10, and great-grandmother of 3. She is survived by her children - Elizabeth Waterman (Johnny), Mary Shell “Shellie” Shockey (John), Ann Clark (late Streck), and John B. Willis (Lori) plus her dear friends, Marie Louise Crane and Kenny Robinson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson B. Willis and her daughter Linda Ireland as well as her parents, a sister, and a brother.
A private graveside service was held at Metairie Cemetery on February 26, 2018.
