Michael Jessica Zullig Gallagher

Michael Jessica Zullig Gallagher passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the age of 33. Jessica is preceded in death by her father, Michael Zullig; paternal grandparents, Joyce Rothweiler and York Rothweiler; and her “first best friend,” maternal grandfather, Anthony Samuel Latino.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Austin Gallagher; her devoted and loving mother, Rose Latino Zullig; her half-sister, Kristi Klusman (Gary); grandmother, Carmela Latino; aunt and godmother, Antoinette Latino Davidson (Anthony) and aunt, Jackie Zullig; uncle, Patrick Zullig; nieces, Michaela, Taylor and Carleigh Klusman; cousins, Ashley, Emily, and Bonnie Davidson, Sara, Sal and Jenny Di Giovanni, and Nicole and Cortney Zullig; and her sweet godchild, Audrey Lyncker.

Jessi was a voracious reader, and had a creative mind. When she was not busy with some form of arts and crafts, she enjoyed spending time with those she loved. Her love for the people around her was only rivaled by her love of animals. Whether helping family and friends, or spending time watching movies with her husband, her presence was her greatest gift to the world. Jessi’s beauty was more than just skin-deep; she was beautiful inside and out. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she truly had a caring heart.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, October 12, 2018 beginning at 10:00 am at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in New Orleans. A memorial mass will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place in All Saints Mausoleum.
