Mike was a class act and I enjoyed working with him.  I recently saw his picture, which is posted on several staff member's desk and he will be truly missed.  That in itself, reflects the impact he had on his co-workers and friends.  I wish nothing but blessings for his wife and boys going forward...rest in peace!

I knew Mike from working with him at the bank. I called him my hero because if I had trouble with my car he always offered to change a tire or battery. He spoke often of his camping trips with his family. He was a down to earth all around great guy. He is missed already.

I have read all these messages and there is nothing I could add. Mike was truly a remarkable man. Loved by everyone who knew him. Deepest sympathy to Allison, Lurline the boys and the entire family. May he Rest In Peace.

I’ve known Mike ever since he started at the Fed. He was a rare breed. Funny, smart and had a laughter that was so distinctive!  He will be greatly missed!!

Almost every evening Mike could be seen either sitting or walking  and talking on the phone , and when any car or truck passed by, he’d wave at the driver while sharing a beaming smile and a  booming voice to greet the passerby.  His presence on Clifford Drive gave him the label of The Mayor. 
The light on in the garage , Mike, Allison, and young Michael and Sammy  there always gave me comfort in knowing. I was secure even when I was alone. 
Mike will be missed by all who knew him.

Mike was what you call ‘good people’ a man, father, friend, husband that never met a stranger.   The deep tone of his voice and infectious laughter will remain with us always in our minds and hearts.  Never without laughter and always willing to share a story or two or three.  This is the man who would help anyone, a presence in the ‘hood at all times.  I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Mike for 15+ years from neighbor friends and as my float mate (next to me) on Thoth.  I’m without words to describe this loss, but I thank the spirits he was in my life.  I can say w’out a doubt his presence will be dearly missed.  I will always share with his wife and kids and friends the many memories we shared, as they will do the same.  Cara and I wanted to offer our condolences at this sad time. We first met Mike when Barbara and Russell moved to Clifford Drive so many years ago. Mike was always in a good mood . I remember that we shared an interest in antique mantle clocks.
When I drove on Clifford Drive, he always took the time to wave to  me even after so many years had passed.
 Mike was a fine man with a good heart.

He always had a smile on his face when I saw him at work. Every time we saw one another at work, we'd joke and laugh; it was never a dull moment. 
He will, most definitely,  be missed.

I worked with Mike at the Federal Reserve Bank since he started, but have been working at home due to the pandemic.  It's very hard to believe he won't be there when I return to the Bank in person.  Mike made me laugh every single day!  He had such a magnetic personality and connected with everyone.  He knew everything and knew everyone.  He appreciated art, wine, Mardi Gras, and life.  He loved his family and spoke about them often.  He was truly one of the good ones.   I have a painting of Meyer's hat shop that he did hanging in my guest room.   You will not be forgotten, Mike.  Love and prayers for the family during this difficult time.

I have worked with Mike at the Federal Reserve for over 23 years. He was the "Go to" guy that would solve your problems and give you a story while fixing what troubled you. He always put a positive spin on life and a smile on you face. I hope there a lot of wine flowing in Heaven, so he can sit back and relax.

Michael brought joy and laughter to our family. I would talk to Michael several times a year and we would have the best laughs about our childhoods. He overcame every obstacle that he encountered in life. He was not an excuse maker but a man who got things done. I had lunch with Michael at the Federal Reserve several times and he was obviously very popular with his colleagues. I was so proud of him. He also had the great fortune of marrying Allison and having Michael and Sam.  With his passing, so many of our unique experiences can no longer be shared with each other, but his spirit and humor will remain with me. I will miss him so much. Uncle Boz

I have known Mike many years and he was such a great guy.  He treated me first time we met like we knew one another for years. And ever since it was so comfortable to be around him.  Always made u feel at home.   Haven’t seen in a few years but when we did see one another it’s like we talk everyday.   I met Mike through one of my best friends and his cousin Dane.   They were brothers.   I feel for the entire family.   Prayers headed your way.

I’ve had the privilege  to work with Mike for 14 years at FRB. He had a kind and easy-going personality. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Mike!

Every memory I have of Mike is filled with laughter and good times. I can still see him wearing Lurline's long camel colored wool coat one freezing day at the house on Toledano. I remember when Karl slipped on ice outside of TJ Quills and Mike tried so hard to break his fall and went down with him but didn't spill his drink! So many great memories...you were salt of the earth and loved by many. I will never forget your infectious laugh and great smile.  Rest well Mike, until we see each other again...

Mike and I worked for the FRB in Facilities, he in NOLA and I in Jacksonville. We would get together when we had a meeting in Atlanta for food and drink and talk about the worlds problems. We never solved any but made great memories trying.
I’ll miss ya buddy but we’ll cross paths again.

There were 4 of us born into the family that year.  I’m sure it was chaos for the parents but as kids we loved it. Michael and I went to nursery school together and then we ended up working at children’s hospital of New Orleans  together. I loved our time there when we would just reminisce about our childhood days.  I will miss our times having a glass of red wine together. Rest In Peace cuz!  Love you!

I will miss Mike coming through the car rider line. He always had a big wave and smile for me! Sam was always so happy to see his dad picking him up. ✝️❤️Prayers for all of you. 

I had the absolute privilege of working side by side with Mike for the past 24 years. What a wonderful personality,  he could immediately connect with someone in any conversation. He will be missed dearly every single day by everyone that knew him.  

Mike was a remarkable, giving individual and a true Renaissance man.  I worked with Mike for 25 years at the Fed and enjoyed his friendship and kindred spirit.  A true Christian gentleman who was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

I always looked up to my older cousin Mike.  From the early days of  "cool" Mike: artist, musician, the hair , the tats to the later days of responsible  professional, family man, and neighbor.  Throughout, always smart and funny.   An infectious personality , one  that  you hoped you could catch  a little of  and keep for yourself.   I always wanted to "Be Like Mike".  (Even before Michael Jordan stole the line)   Still do.  Love to Allison and all the family and friends.  

Mike will be greatly missed at the Federal Reserve. He bonded easily with people and his hands on skills were widely respected.

Mike was an awesome co-worker.  He could make any lunchtime full of laughter and insight.  I'm going to miss seeing him at the office.  Sending prayers for peace to his family during this difficult time.

Sending my deepest condolences to Mike's family.   I worked with Mike at the Fed (I am from the Atlanta office).   Whenever I was in New Orleans for work, Mike was always so helpful and always did things with a smile; he was a pleasure to work with.  He always had great restaurant recommendations, for this tourist!  I know he loved his family, good food, and his fun travels.   Mike, you will be missed.
