Minnie (Chris) Hebert passed away Friday, February 13, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi on October 29, 1935, to the late Bessie Case Cannon and Joseph Wadsworth Cannon. She was preceded in death by her 9 siblings.
Beloved wife to the late Theodore S. Hebert, Jr. She is also survived by her son Teddy (Pam) and her daughter Terri (Wil). Beloved Grandmother to Teddy (Frances), Rachel (Ben), Tori (Matt), and Nicholas (Keragon). Beloved Great-Grandmother to Vanna, Stephen, Eivin, Burke, Axell, and Brooks.
In her younger years she was an avid gardener and crafter. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, crawfishing, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at First English Lutheran Church (3701 Cleary Ave. Metairie, LA 70002) on Friday, February 20, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9am to 10am followed by a Memorial Service starting at 10am.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First English Lutheran Church in Chris’s (Minnie) name.
