Mona is survived by her sister-in-law Ginny Kay Reagle (Al); cousin James Ortego (late Edna) and their children Peggy Smith (Roy) and Jill Weeks (Ronnie); close friends Joan Chandler and Frances “Dee” Doyle as well as many other relatives, godchildren and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Louise Sanders.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum.
