Norma Drufner Standige passed away on March 1, 2020 at age 85. She was born in New Orleans on July 23, 1934 to the late Capt. Baltassar William Drufner and Elvire Rolland Drufner. Norma was also preceded in death by her brother, John Barry Drufner, Sr. (Irene) .
She is survived by her son, Loren Kerr, Jr. (Terry); her grandchildren, Stephanie Kerr Matranga (Joseph) and Loren M. Kerr, and great grandchildren, Paityn Guillot, Vincent Matranga, and Dominic Matranga.
Norma worked as an LPN for Touro Infirmary for over 20 years and volunteered at nursing homes such as Colonial Oaks after her retirement.
