Patricia W Faust

Patricia Wylie Faust passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born on January 20, 1943 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Warren Ray Wylie and the late Helen Crawford Wylie. She married Frank Lawrence Faust III in 1965 who predeceased her in 2011.

“Trish”, as she was known to her family and friends, graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama and received her B.A. from the Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she finished A.B.D. (all but dissertation). With the Personnel Accreditation Institute, she was awarded Professional of Human Resources. She subsequently worked in Benefits and Human Resources Management for John Hancock Life Insurance Company, and for Wemco, Inc., (Wembley Industries). An avid tennis player, she was a longtime member of the Green Acres Country Club, also serving on its Board of Directors. She was a member of Elmwood Fitness Center where she greatly enjoyed line dancing.

She is survived by her beloved West-Highland Terriers, Caiden and Cameron, cherished friends from the G.A. Country Club and Elmwood, her Thursday lunch brunch, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends would like to express special thanks to her caregivers, Tina Thomas and Dottie Matthews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the animal welfare organization of your choice may be made in her name. Interment will be private.
