Paul Thomas Mignogna, a Respiratory Therapist at East Jefferson Hospital, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Leana Castro Mignogna. Loving Son of Thomas S. and Patricia M. Mignogna of Lynchburg, Virginia. Adoring father of Thomas S. Mignogna, II and Michelle M. Badeaux. Grandfather of Blake Ryan Badeaux, Jr. Paul attended St. Paul Elementary, Holy Cross Regional, Tulane University and received his Respiratory Therapist Degree from Piedmont Community College. He coached track at Grace King, Amateur Athletic Union, Southern Stars and USA Track and Field and was currently coaching Track and Field at East Jefferson High School.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, December 1, 2014 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Avenue, Metairie, La. at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Susan G. Komen Cancer Research Foundation, preferred.
