Paul Montelepre

Paul is survived by his loving wife, April Ivy; his son, Castiel Montelepre; his parents, Philip Montelepre and Andrea Bucaro; his two sisters, Isabelle Montelepre and Kate Montelepre Lalla (Thomas Lalla); and his three nephews, Matthew Montelepre, Drew Lalla, and Jake Lalla.

Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Isabelle Montelepre and Andrew and Inez Bucaro.

Paul was born in New Orleans on July 9, 1982. He attended Brother Martin High School and obtained his master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of New Orleans. He loved all things computers and software, and had a successful career as a software engineer.

Paul was a loving and supportive husband and a doting father to his son, Cas, who was his greatest pride and joy. He truly was the sweetest, kindest, and gentlest soul. He had an incredibly infectious smile and spirit, and was uplifting to anyone he was around. He will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM.
