Paul J. Neal passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the age of 54. He was born in New Orleans and resided in Gonzales. Paul graduated from St. Amant High School where he went on to work in the photofinishing, car sales, and roofing industries. He enjoyed watching sports, reading the Bible, and spending time with his beloved dog, Bo. Paul is survived by his sisters Lisa Thompson and Gayle Neal; brother in laws Brad Thompson and Bill Stone; niece Hollie Thompson; nephews Brandon Neal, Robert Rabalais, Spencer Thompson and his fiancé Ebony Mosby, Benjamin Thompson, and Jacob Thompson; great niece Serenity; great nephew Jai’Dyn; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by his loving parents Ann and Allen Neal along with several other dearly loved relatives and friends. Paul will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 1pm with public visitation beginning at 11am. Interment will follow the service at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
