

Paulette is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John L. Beckmann, Jr.; her three beloved children, John "Johnny" Beckmann, III (Lana), Deborah Beckmann Wolff (Bryan), and Paul Joseph Beckmann (Tara); a sister, Rose Marie Schexnayder; and seven adored grandchildren, John Louis Beckmann, IV (fiancé, Micaela), Urban André Beckmann, Joseph DiCarlo Beckmann (fiancé, Courtney), Matthew Joseph Wolff, Brandon Michael Wolff, Zachary Paul Beckmann, and Hannah Carey Beckmann. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph P. DiCarlo and Marie Monnier DiCarlo.
Paulette was born and raised in New Orleans, and graduated from Sacred Heart High School on Canal Street. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Metairie. She also belonged to Women's Aglow Fellowship, New Orleans Chapter. Paulette was actively involved with Lantern Light Ministry, where she enjoyed volunteering her time.
Paulette was the matriarch of her family, and will be missed dearly. She influenced everyone she met with her joy, love, kindness, and wisdom. Her devotion to her grandchildren was unmatched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 2:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00PM. The interment will follow the Mass at Lake Lawn Park.
