Randy Joseph O’Neill passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the age of 63. He was born in Baton Rouge to the late Shirley Thompson O’Neill and Marnel O’Neill Jr. Randy is preceded in death by his parents Shirley Thompson O’Neill and Marnel O’Neill Jr.; sister, Peggy O’Neill Nagele; and twin brother, Ronny James O’Neill.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca O’Neill Saacks (Shane) and Jessica O’Neill Bothman (Jaryd); sisters, Sharon O’Neill Bell (Terry) and Cindee O’Neill LeBoeuf (Ralph); grandchildren, Caroline Louise Saacks, Julia Louise Bothman, Catherine Mary Saacks and Jaryd Edward Bothman Jr.; partner, Lisa Gagliano; He served as godfather to Ashley Cimino (David); and is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation held at St. Dominic Church, 775 Harrison Ave, New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 10:30am with mass beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
