Rita Caamano Cundiff Becker born May 8, 1930, passed away Saturday February 14, 2015 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Jack L. Becker for 40 years. Loving mother of George E. Cundiff, Jr. (Debbie), Bruce A. Cundiff (Yvonne) and stepmother of Candace “Candy” Rooney (Michael) and Jack “Dutch” Becker (Carla). Proud grandmother of Charles “Chuck” Cundiff of Mandeville, LA, Andrew “Andy” Cundiff of Rock Hill, SC, Corinne “Cori” Cundiff of Chalmette, LA, Craig Cundiff of Seattle, WA, the late Mary Cundiff, Justin Becker of New Orleans, LA, Kevin Becker of Metairie, LA, Mary Davidson of Jacksonville, FL, Joan Hester of Birmingham, AL, Lauren Berry, of Atlanta, GA, and Trista Douglas of New Orleans, LA and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a large loving family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a sister in law. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph A. Caamano, her mother Hilda Hazel Caamano, her brother Edward J. Caamano, and her niece Ellen Hooha. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Lake Lawn Funeral Home 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses in Rita’s name.
