Robbie Jarrell died on April 6, 2016 at Ochsner Hospital, Jefferson Highway. He was 74 years old. He was born April 3, 1942 in Picayune, MS and moved to New Orleans in 1954. Robbie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cheryl Dulany Jarrell; his son Robbie Jarrell Jr, Monica Morales, Joshua Morales-Velasquez and Jonah Morales; his sister Beth Jarrell Johannessen; his Mother-in-Law, Rosemary Dulany and Sister-in-Law, Marilynn Dulany. He is also survived by his aunt, Lois Davis and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Eunice Kendrick and Lawrence Jarrell, and his brother Terry Jarrell. Robbie graduated from Warren Easton High School and the University of New Orleans. He worked in Computer Technology at D.H. Holmes Department Stores and Tulane University. He was an active member of New Orleans Power Squadron for 30 years. Family and friends will be invited to a celebration of Robbie’s life in mid-May. Burial was private.
