Robert “Bob” Ziegler Adams passed away peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2018, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 87. He was born on Friday, January 2, 1931 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He resided in New Orleans, Louisiana until 2015 and in Ponchatoula for past 13 years. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus 4874 Father Vander Heyden Council, and a member of The Honorable Order of the Blue Goose, International.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Helen Graf Adams. Also survived by his sister Anna Mae Markey, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana 70124 on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 12:00 pm. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until service time.
Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
