Robert “Bob” W. Crossin, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2019. Preceded in death by his parents, Anthony V. and Abby W. Crossin. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla L. Crossin, daughters Melissa Crossin, Kelli C. Ramon, son-in-law Patrick Ramon and the late Erin C. Grenon (Dustyn). Cherished Pops of Brady and Brennen Ramon. Uncle of Kathryn and Patrick Crossin. Also preceded in death by his brother, Anthony “Tony” Crossin (late Gloria). Graduate of Warren Easton High School and was employed as District Sales Manager for T.V. Guide Company for 33 years. Bob was a member of the Southernaires and Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps. He was Business Manager and Drum Instructor for the Stardusters and Bleau Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps. Longtime member and served on the board of Green Acres Country Club, where he also served as President. He was a member of St. Edward Steam Organization. Bob enjoyed his retirement cruising with his wife and friends but his greatest joy was being Pops and favorite sports fan of Brady and Brennen. He will be truly missed and our peace comes from knowing he is reunited with his daughter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (in Metairie Cemetery), 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be given to The Erin Crossin Grenon Memorial Scholarship Fund C/O Archbishop Chapelle High School, 8800 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA 70001.
