I don't know where to start! I love you and miss you so much! I still need you...... Always in my heart and on my mind daily!! Love you so so much me n the kids miss you like no other!! This isn't fair......

Robin, you were a true blessing to my parents and me. The countless times you stepped in to lend a helping hand or an ear never went unnoticed. Your spirit and attitude for life was always so positive even in the toughest of times. 
I want to thank you for being an angel on this Earth. Fly high!!

I have known Robin for over thirty years. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. I will always cherish my memories with her. She and Rick drove my husband and me to the airport in New Orleans when we married in 1987, and that is just one small example of her kindness. Her laugh was contagious and she lit up every room into which she walked. I am devastated that she left this world so soon,  but I know Heaven has gained another angel. Robin simply WAS love. She gave love to everyone, and if you met her, you could not help but love Robin. The world is a better place for having this precious woman in it. My heart breaks for Jen and Robin's siblings and all the other people who are undoubtedly hurting tonight because this ray of sunshine is gone. Rest in peace, sweet lady. I love you so very, very much, and you will live on in my heart forever.

From another old KPMG & RTC coworker, you could ask around our group and everyone would have a great and happy story to tell about her.  Most about that quiet personality.  Ok, kidding -- I hope she wouldn't mind.  It was that great smile & laugh, and bigger-than-life personality & heart & kindness.  She was a great person, so fun and funny, and we are so lucky we had the chance to work with and for her.  I couldn’t have asked for a better boss.  This has saddened our entire group. To Robin’s family and friends, we are so sorry for your loss.  You are all in our prayers.  Rest in peace, Robin.

I also worked with Robin for many years at KPMG. She was a wonderful life coach and mentor to me and I will be forever grateful. Robin's infectious outlook on life will be missed tremendously!!!

Had the pleasure to work with Robin for many years at KPMG. Will remember the great times learning from her and playing the occasional racquetball during lunch. Especially giving her the high balls because she was short. She will be missed for sure.

May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding engulf the family and loved ones of Robin Hood. Robin was a great person and she will be greatly missed.

We met Robin at the Courtyard Marriot in Montvale, NJ while she was doing a very long project at KPMG. Always a beautiful smile & a great laugh. We spent many a night talking & having fun. She was a wonderful person who was full of life and will be greatly missed! We love you Robin may you RIP. Shari & Matt

I knew Robin when attending St Angela Merici. She was always friendly and fun. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you

I met her at St. Angela and knew her till I moved away. She always was very sweet to me and everyone she knew.  We got in touch a few years back, before she moved to Laplace and ”shot the breeze”. She was always one of the most beautiful women I knew. Her personality made her a glowing stunning woman. I wish I could have visited her.

  I got to know Robin through her brother Barry. Generally, this was as an invited (and occasionally uninvited?) guest with him and friends to her home in Tool, Texas.
  On the first occassion, she greeted me as if she had known me all her life! Not one of you would be surprised by this. And that smile! And those laughing eyes! What a spirit!
  I had more than one pair of forgotten sunglasses mangled on my tee-shirt, while getting high quality 'goodbye hugs' from Robin!! The sacrifice was well worth it!
  I will miss seeing your bright face, but I will never forget it!
  My condolences to the Hood family and all the people who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be missed!

There are too many memories to pick just one favorite. It's easier to list the things I'll miss...her laugh, her smile, her all around positive attitude. Any time Robin was around she made everything feel warm and welcoming and she always brought a smile to  my face. Even when something would bother me, all it took was Robin saying "It's okaaaaay!" and it was! I will greatly miss her smile...her laugh...and that feeling I always had when she was around! Love you, Robin!

Celebration of Life Gathering

Robin is survived by her daughter, Jenniffer Byron Ross (Richard) of San Antonio, TX; her sisters, Kay Hood, Linda Hood Hall and Kelle Hood; and her brothers, Ralph Hood, Barry Hood and Bruce Hood. She is also survived by her dog, Diddy.
