

Rose Mary Diecidue Caminita passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born in New Orleans to the late George and Lucille Cruso. Rose Mary loved to dance, cook and entertain. She was preceded in death by her spouse of 7 years, Jacob Caminita; children, Peggie Diecidue Saba and Salvador Frank Diecidue; grandson, Earl Turner Carr III; her parents, George and Lucille Cruso; and sisters, Mildred Cruso Scortino and Joyce Cruso Tonguis. Rose Mary is survived by her children, Pennie Diecidue Carr (Earl T. Carr, Jr), Sallie Diecidue and Steven George Diecidue (Giselle); her grandchildren, Katie Elizabeth Carr Kopcso, Zachary Salvador Carr, Rachel Carr Eymard, Peter Frank Dimitri, Christian George Dimitri, Frank Paul Dimitri, Quinn David Giardina, Casey Ross Giardina, Alexander Salvador Jones, Theresa Mowers Dysart, Steven George Diecidue, Jr and Hayden Joseph Diecidue; and many great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Heritage Manor Slidell, St. Catherine’s Hospice, Sister Theresa and Erika Martinez for their special care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services for Rose Mary held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
