Sebastian Scontrino, Jr.

Sebastian “Junior” Scontrino, 90, passed away on November 5th in Luling, Louisiana. Sebastian was born on April 10, 1935 in New Orleans, LA to Rita and Sebastian “Bos” Scontrino. Sebastian lived in Metairie his entire life and married Bobbie Jean Martin in 1957. They remained married for over 67 years. Sebastian loved fishing, music, traveling with Bobbie and friends, and joking with his children and grandchildren. His quick sense of humor made everyone smile. Sebastian was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie, in 2024 and is survived by his three loving daughters Jeannine Richert, Darlene Papale, and Claudine Makofsky (RJ). He was affectionately known as “Paw Paw Jr.” to 8 grandchildren: Chad Richert (Sarah), Tommy Papale (Ashlee), Shannon Breaux (Shane), Angela McCann (Philip), Kyle Richert (Nicole), Kelsey Makofsky, Rachel Makofsky, and Brooke Makofsky; as well as 13 great-grandchildren plus another one on the way. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his family.

Private services were held on Saturday, November 15th. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.
