Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Grassel Steed; her son, Keith David Mayberry; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Mayberry.
She is survived by her son, Kelly S. Mayberry and his wife, Kelly M. Mayberry; her former daughter-in-law, Ruby Smith; her grandchildren, Stephanie Mayberry, Tiffanie Mayberry, Craig Mayberry, Jaycee Mayberry, Jordann Pash (Brett), and James Mayberry; and many great grandchildren.
Sharon was born in New Orleans on October 4, 1946 and graduated from Grace King High School in 1964.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00AM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass in Metairie Cemetery.
