Stephen Norris Fant

Stephen Norris Fant, age 65, passed away Wednesday, November 25th after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lynda Lafaye Fant, his two sons, Stephen Marshall Fant and Preston Lafaye Fant, father Norris LeDew Fant, mother Daisy Barbre Fant, sister Katherine Fant Mulloy (Ed), brother Donald Fitzgibbon Fant (Andrée), and niece Elise Fant. Steve was a native of New Orleans, LA. He graduated from Alcee Fortier High School, the University of South Carolina and Harvard Business School. He was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Computrac, Inc., Partner/President of DDRS Inc., Senior Vice President of New Business Development, Axxon L.L.C., Partner of Information Resources L.L.C., Chief Executive Officer of The Curtain Exchange, and General Manager and Director of Business Development of ClearPoint Diagnostic Laboratories. Steve was an avid sailor, cyclist, skier, hunter and fisherman. He loved life and never met a challenge he couldn’t master. He was a member of the Southern Yacht Club, the Bienville Club, and several carnival organizations. R.I.P. Richard XIV. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM.
