Susan Michelle Adams-Upshaw

Susan Michelle Adams-Upshaw, a registered pharmacist, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2016 at the age of 57 years old. Susan was born on August 27, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina, raised in Chicago, Illinois, and was a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana for the past thirty-three years. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis Charles Adams and Dorothea Gethers Adams, and her brother Myron Adams. She was the daughter-in-law of Dolores Upshaw and the late Samuel Upshaw. Susan is survived by her loving husband of twenty four years, Anthony Upshaw, cherished daughter Chase Madison Upshaw, sisters Myra Fletcher (Colby) and Vicky Adams, and brothers Mark and Michael Adams, brother-in-law Jeffrey Upshaw, devoted friends Debra Braxton, Patricia Weber and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives, friends, and employees of Touro Infirmary, University Medical Center, Southern Eagle Sales and Service, and Sessions Fishman Law Firm are invited to attend the Visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, La. 70124, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 pm in Lake Lawn’s Chapel.
