Born July 5th 1935 in Claremore OK to Mary Frances Atkisson Taylor and Aubrey Taylor. She called her uncle, A.D. Jake Payne, "Daddy" who married Ann Atkisson and they had one daughter Susie. Susie and Terry grew up together.
Terry married her husband, Everette L., Pace on April 1st 1953, had three children and were together for over 68 wonderful years. Terry was known as “Moose” to her devoted husband and as “Granny” to her loving grandchildren and her great grandson Jake who was named after the man that Terry called daddy.
Terry was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to travel, eat out, and spend time with her friends and family. She was an accomplished bridge player and shared her husband's passion for collecting fine art. Terry was close to and shared many good times with her brother-in-law Kit Pace and his wife Donna as well as her Pace nephews David, Kelly, and Mitch.
Terry was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2001. She lived her life strong and happy even after her diagnosis. She fought to stay present despite her disease. In August of 2020 she was moved to the memory care unit at The Trace and was well taken care of by the staff and her husband who was by her side much of the time. On October 1st of 2021 Terry succumbed to the difficulties that Alzheimer’s presents.
