Thomas “Tom” W. Gray passed away at Touro Hospital on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. He was 63 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sandra Bryant Gray; son, Nicholas “Nick” James Gray; mother, Evelyn H. Taylor of Guntersville, Alabama; brother, Michael “Mike” Gray (Kathy) of Clearwater, Florida; and niece, Leigh Ann Gray Arnold (Mike) of Dawsonville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Thomas Gray.
Tom was a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University, where he earned his B.S. in Building Construction. In 1994 he began his career as a Consulting Estimator with AECOM (formerly Walk Haydel).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in Guntersville, Alabama on March 21, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom’s memory to Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy., Kenner, LA. 70065.
