Timothy (Timmy) Francis Simpson, age 58, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Timmy was born August 31, 1963 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Carole Schulingkamp and Henry Donald Simpson.
Timmy attended Southeastern LA University and was the owner of Causeway Bar and Grill. In his spare time, Timmy enjoyed playing pool, watching his favorite football teams (the Saints and LSU), and going on cruises.
Timmy is survived by his wife of 22 years, Michelle Plessala Simpson; his mother Carole Schulingkamp; his sisters; Kristen Simpson Lingle (David), Glynis Simpson Silva (Douglas), Blythe Simpson Pippin (Greg) and his brother; Ronnie Schulingkamp.
Timmy is also survived by several nieces and nephews; Brock Lingle, Luke Lingle, Lacey Lingle, Rayce Silva, Landis Silva, Shale Silva, Bence Silva, Carden Pippin, Briley Pippen, Jack Archer, Sami Archer.
Timmy was preceded in death by his father; Henry Donald Simpson.
A Memorial Catholic Service will be held in Timmy's honor on Friday, October 8, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home; 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 with a visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Following the Memorial Catholic Service, there will be an inurnment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
