Victoria White Chavanne, age 51, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away on August 17, 2023. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, she graduated from Clifton Ganus High School and attended Louisiana State University. She worked in the service industry her whole life and dedicated her spare time in support of local organizations such as Autism Speaks and Team Gleason.
Vicki was a force of nature. She was intense, unapologetic, and a fierce protector of friends and family. She loved to cook and she loved to feed you. She was an avid Saints and Pelicans fan, and she loved everything New Orleans. She never met a festival she didn't like. Her biggest source of pride was her two sons, who she cherished more than anything else.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack White, and her dog, Dino. She is survived by her mother Betty White, her sons Dylan Tetlow and Jackson Chavanne, brother Jason White (Jennifer Levy), and niece Lee White.
A visitation for Victoria will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana 70124, followed by a memorial mass at 1:00 PM.
Victoria will be laid to rest in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana.
