Virgil James Boyd, age 89 years, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Metairie, LA. Beloved husband of the late Hermine “Helen” Boyd. Loving father of Ronnie V. Boyd and wife Cindy. Grandfather of Brian V. Boyd and Mark S. Boyd. Great grandfather of Mark A. Boyd, Jenna Boyd, and Dylan Boyd. Mr. Boyd proudly served his country in the US Army as a Master Sgt. during WWII. He was a retired Engineer for the US Dept. of Agriculture.
