Warren was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Prosper and Sarah (Henderson) Walker on June 7th, 1939. He was married to the late Beverly Ann Walker; she passed away December 5, 2013. Warren served in the United States Army and worked as a Carpenter.
Warren was the beloved father of Kim Walker West (George), Karen Walker, and Warren Walker, Jr. (Teedy). He was the grandfather of Kellie West, Gia West, Gikiria West, and Kimori West, Ashley Walker, Warren Walker III, and Malik Walker. Great grandfather of Edrick Mosley III and Madison Rose Walker and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by brothers-in-law; Alfred Martin, Percy Booth and Bernell Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly and his parents.
Visitation will be from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, Thursday, February 12th, 2015 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana. Funeral Mass will start at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery with Military Honors at the grave.
