Bobby and Ann, I share your sorrow.  I am heartbroken over losing Sonny.  I know how much he suffered in the last few years and I am grateful that he is now at peace.  He was so precious, cute as a button and funny and full of life.  He was my close connection to my dad's side of the family.   I remember all of the seafood boils Uncle Bill and Aunt Lil had in their screened in porch.  Our family was close to this family and I have fond memories of those days.   Ann, I am sorry I didn't make it to your house Saturday, but my heart is with you.   I still remember bringing my mom to your house so you could cut her hair.  Mom loved Sonny a lot. A closed friend of mine father was call home to his finial resting place. Though I could not find the words to express my sadness, it was then when I realized I was more happy than sad. I was happy that he was no longer suffering. Lorie would say wonderful story about Sonny and his camp, my saying is fly high Sonny, you will be greatly miss by countless number of people.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Bobby, I am so sorry to hear about Sonny. Just wish I had been closer to you two.  I do remember his smile and happy memories when we were young and our families would visit. God bless.

There are no words to express my sympathy as God gained a true angel. Today will be a hard day for the Beaver and our family. When my oldest brother joined the fire department  and passed away Mr. Sonny took care of all the arrangements closing down Causeway and Veterans to lay my brother to rest. He was one of a kind people that impact lives with his smile or would do anything for you. Lorie, Jude and Ms. Ann I don't have to tell you this but we all thought the world of him. Lorie we have known each other since middle school. He has become your guardian angel and I know he is definitely proud of the daughter you are and woman he raised. Listen to the song "I hope you dance". He is at peace now. We love you all

Margie my dear sister and Jude I don't know what to say except I'm sorry for your loss. Please do know Margie and Jude your daddy knew y'all were there until the end. I think y'all made him the fighter he was. No one can take your pain away but now Mr. Sonny is not in pain. He is proud of y'all and is your guardian angel. I'm sure him and daddy shook hands Margie when he left this earth. He knows how much you all love him and are missing him. Remember the Good Times and you will get through it. Lorie & Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He was a fun, awesome person who loved his family very much.  We didn't get to see him as much as we would like lately but did keep contact. I will always remember his smile, his cooking, and of course his stories! He was a great guy and I know you will miss him so much.

Only knowing Sonny for the last 5 years, I knew a loving and caring family man. His most Joy was found helping his Children. The front desk he crafted for Le Petit Salon will always be a reminder of his Love.  My prayers go out to Lorie, Joe, Jude, Margie, Ann, all of his Extended Family and Friends.

Mr Sonny was one of the most talented men I have ever known, he could build a car , boat , house , fish , hunt , etc. and on top of all that put out fires and save lives . the world lost a great man . but he lives on through the great family and friends he has . mrs ann , jude , lorie I am so sorry. even though his body may be gone his spirit is still here.

Lorie and Jude and family, I am so sorry for your loss.  I have not talked to Mr. Sonny in a few months and just told my friend I had to call and chat with him.  I wish I didn't forget to now.  You two are so lucky to have such a great father.  If you could pick them, he would be my top choice.  What an awesome person he was.  I will truly miss him and I know anyone who ever knew him will too.  I wish we could have made one more trip together so I could listen to his stories.  I'll miss you Mr. Sonny!

Jude and Lorie, I am so sorry to hear about your dad's death. He was a great man who loved his children, his friends, his dogs and fishing!! He was a real man. Someone who wasn't afraid to stand up for what was right and just. He was so loyal to his friends. I have some photos of him from the C. Beevers days, that I will post. I will always remember the laughs that I shared with him. A few great fishing trips too!! Rest in Peace Sonny!!

Though Gary and I have not seen Sonny in 16yrs. since we moved to Ohio,Sonny was a really nice guy and ALWAYS had a smile on his face. He was so friendly and fun to be around. I know he will be missed greatly. Peace to Sonny and his family.
