Bill was proud to be a graduate of Texas Christian University, a lover of all things music, theatre and fine arts. He was a quick witted, natural-born storyteller who loved playing guitar and never met a stranger. For over three decades, ahead of his time, he was a progressive business owner and a billboard charter for the music industry. Growing up between the Midwest and the heart of Los Angeles, he found his passion booking bands on TCU’s campus leading to work as a promoter for Capital Records and ABC Dunhill. He landed in New Orleans on a business trip- meeting his wife while playing foosball at a local bar, fell in love, and never left. He created a landmark for New Orleans music establishing Warehouse Records and Tapes. He significantly contributed to the prominence and promotion of the live New Orleans music scene from the Warehouse to the New Orleans Jazz Fest. After the music industry transitioned, so did he and found a career in computer software and technology. A devout father and friend who brought humor, love, joy and compassion to all those who knew him. With a big heart, he dedicated his life to raising and mentoring four children, 11 grandchildren, and five dogs. He was an unwavering defender of the underdog in life and spoke out for equality and inclusion. Regardless of your background or culture, he was your friend. He left this world far too soon and we are heartbroken. He will forever be missed as an amazing husband, dad and friend. His greatest accomplishment is the legacy he leaves of love, family, and friends who live on in his memory.
