William F. Stahl passed away on January 3, 2017 at Lambeth House. He had been a lifelong resident of New Orleans, having moved to Lambeth House in 2006 following Hurricane Katrina. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of many years, Odette Moran Stahl. He is survived by his two children, William P. Stahl (Carlota) of Mill Neck, NY and Robert M. Stahl (Barbara) of Winnetka, IL; 3 grandchildren, William P. Stahl, Jr., Jeanne Legier Stahl, and Chloe M. Stahl; and great grandchildrenWilliam Alexander Stahl, Preston Brooks Stahl, Henry Wingfield Stahl, John Christopher Goldsmith, and William Benedict Goldsmith. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Stahl; and one brother, John B. Stahl. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Lambeth House Foundation, 150 Broadway, New Orleans, LA 70118 or a charity of your choice. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at a reception at Lambeth House at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
