Anthony Frank Zappolo

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 14, 1943. Anthony graduated from Franklin K. Lane High School.

Anthony served in the United States Army from 1967 through 1970 achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Anthony was married to Susan J. Zappolo on June 10, 1967.

Anthony had a career in retail for over 35 years. After retiring, Anthony became the Head Custodian at Cornwall Central Middle School.

Anthony was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Michael’s Church (Past Grand Night of Cornwall, NY), VFW Post 4412 of Hudson, Fl and the Summertree Friendship Club.

Anthony had a passion for camping, fishing and spending time with his eight grandsons.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Susan and their sons Anthony and his wife Christine of New Jersey. Steven and his wife Brenda of New York and Michael and his wife Erin of Arizona.

Anthony and Susan's children gave them 8 grandsons, Dominic, Anthony, Christopher, Logan, Matthew, Alex, Jonathan, and Nicholas.

Anthony is also survived by his brother, Bob Zappolo, and his wife, Nancy, and his sister, Annmarie Donahue, and her husband, Joe, as well as several nephews.

A mass will be held at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church of Hudson, FL

on November 13th at 9:30am at 8014 State Rd 52, Hudson, FL 34667

A Burial with full military honors will follow the church service on Monday, November 13th at 11:30am at Florida National cemetery 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513
