Carmella Ann Young, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Bear Creek Nursing Center in Hudson, Florida. Carmella was born in Manchester, New Hampshire and moved to Florida in 1989 with her husband, Donald Young, now deceased. She worked as a kitchen manager, and other restaurant positions throughout most of her life. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and crafts. Carmella was a Christian believer and attended Calvary Worship Center in New Port Richey. Carmella was predeceased by a daughter Patricia Ann Bishop, her husband Donald, brothers Kevin Trothier and Paul Trothier, and sister Alberta Mondoux. She is survied by her son Michael Bishop and wife Pamela, daughter Melissa Grant and husband Jim, 2 grandchildren; Ryan and Ashlee, 5 great grandchildren, 2 nephews and 1 niece. Carmella will be laid to rest with her late husband at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
