Carmen Maria Leon, 94, of Hudson, FL, passed away Saturday July 23, 2016. Born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico in 1921.She came to NY at the age of 15 to join her brother and 4 sisters. She worked as a seamstress and loved to dance and sing. Survived by two sons; Benjamin and Jose Leon, daughter, Carmen C. Leon, four grandchildren, one great grandson and one great great granddaughter. Growing up we learned that she was the epitome of tough love and discipline. She was also the neighborhood “MOM”. Family to her was everything. She was a GOD fearing woman who taught us how to pray and to pray for everyone. She loved everyone she came to know, there was always an I love you and a hug.
