Ellen Lorene LePage, known to her friends as "Lori, passed away January 1, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1936 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to her late parents Pearl Hobart and Stella Christine Stapleton.
Lori grew up in rural Virginia and eventually went on to work at the Pentagon where she met her late husband Alexander LePage. They married in 1971 and later moved to Clearwater Florida and then to Palm Harbor to enjoy golfing and Little Theater in their community. She was a devout Catholic who took care of friends and family alike and was well known for her love of animals and the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander J LePage, sister Alma Jean Stapleton Banks, brother Edward Stapleton, nephews Steven Banks and Gregory Banks and stepson Gregory LePage. Survivors include nieces and nephews Rolanda Banks Coghill, Belinda Banks Howard, Michael Banks, stepson Bradford LePage and wife Tani, plus 3 grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will take place on January 31, 2026 at 10:30am, St Luke's Catholic Church in Palm Harbor and she will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery with her husband.
