With a heart full of love and a spirit that touched countless lives, Gail Marie Jurkovac passed away peacefully in Brooksville, FL, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Phelps, WI, Gail embodied kindness, compassion, and a zest for life. A proud Sheboygan Central High School graduate, she went on to earn her Associates in Healthcare as a Lab Tech, and later, as a World-Class Mom and cheerleader for life.
She met her soulmate, Chester, over an orange soda at the Patio restaurant in Sheboygan Falls, and spent 65 incredible years by his side, supporting his career as a Hall-of-Fame High School Football Coach for the Truckers.
Her passions knew no bounds - shelling at the beach, cross-country skiing, golf, fishing, kayaking, and exploring the world with her Golden Girls crew. She cherished Lake Michigan, family holidays, Neil Diamond, and baking up a storm in the kitchen.
Gail's community was her canvas, and she painted it with kindness, volunteering, and love. Special needs kids at Keller's Lake, Bridge club, Bible study, and the Trucker Games were just a few of the places she left her mark.
Her legacy lives on through her beautiful smile, her infectious laugh, and the countless lives she touched. She is survived by Chester, Michael, John, Jim, and Jodi, and predeceased by her parents, Vivian and Herman Ketz, Doris Oldenburg, Janet Busch, Bobby Ketz, and many extended family members.
A private memorial service will be held with family. In lieu of flowers, please send memories and condolences to Chester Jurkovac.
Special thanks to Johno & Carmela for their tender care.
Gail is now celebrating her life with her Lord & Savior, surrounded by love, laughter, and the memories of a lifetime.
