Gertrude Johnson, 90, of New Port Richey, Florida entered into rest Monday, September 30, 2013. She was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on June 10, 1923. Gertrude lived in Saugus, Massachusetts and was a registered nurse. She moved to New Port Richey in 1970 but continued to go back to her camp on Lake Sherburne in Waterboro, Maine, that she loved so much with her late husband of 55 years, Martin A. Johnson, every summer. Gertrude was the loving mother of four surviving sons; Martin Johnson of Spring Hill, Florida, Kenneth (Alice) Johnson of Somersworth, New Hampshire, Wayne (Debra) Johnson of New Port Richey, Florida, and Christian (Linda) Johnson of New Port Richey, Florida. She had 13 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren. Gertrude is also survived by two sisters, Eleanor and Laura Jane, both of Massachusetts. She will forever hold a place in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
