Leonard C Jones

Leonard C. Jones, son of the late Clifton and Orphan Bolen Jones passed away at the VA Hospital Hospice Unit on Wednesday morning, January 27. Leonard was born on September 18, 1936 in Paden City, West Virginia. He was married to Gloria Nepa Jones formally of Wellsburg, West Virginia on July 23, 1960. Leonard was employed at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel in Steubenville, Ohio for 34 years. He is survived by his wife Gloria, 2 daughters, Diane Jones Wylie (Larry) of Sevierville, TN and Janet Jones Graden (John) of Holiday, FL, 3 grandsons Justin Nesselroad (Colleen) of Palm Harbor, Jimmy Nesselroad (Angela) of New Port Richey, FL, David Woofter (Marcella) of Charleston, WV and one grand daughter Lanette Clark (Greg) of Canton OH. He is also survived by 3 great grandsons, Brody and Mason Clark of Canton, OH and Eli Nesselroad of New Port Richey, FL, brother Ralph E. Jones (Antoinette) of Weirton, WV and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his favorite aunt Martha Leasure (Earl) of Paden City, WV and many cousins.

Leonard was a faithful Christian member of River Road Church of Christ where a memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 30 at 11:00 am lead by preacher Chris Steele. His remains will be placed at Bushnell Military Cemetery at a future date.
