Lois Ann (Malonek) Holgash, entered into eternal rest on July 16, 2014. Lois was born on February 26, 1922 in South Fork, PA. She worked for Ohio Bell Telephone as a Supervisor and retired after 34 years’ service in Broadview Heights, Ohio. Lois is survived by her brother, Ralston Malonek, Sisters-in-Law Mary Allen, Jean Richardson, Margaret Raybould, and Doris Efstathakis, ten nieces and nephews, dear friend, Roger Newman, and a host of cherished friends. She was preceded in her death by her Husband, George, her parents, Charles and Esther Malonek, her sister Fay (Frank) Lovekin, and her brother Charles (Margaret) Malonek.
Lois was a member of Spirit of Grace Lutheran Church, New Port Richey, Florida and the Fairway Springs Women’s Club. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 22 from 5-8pm with funeral service Wednesday July 23 at 11am at North Meadowlawn Funeral Home, 4244 Madison Street New Port Richey, Florida 34652. Entombment will immediately follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Lois's name to the American Cancer Society.
