

Miguel Angel Rosario age 91 of New Port Richey, FL. died Saturday September 18, 2010 at the HPH Hospice Marliere Care Center in New Port Richey, FL. He was born July 2, 1919 to Sotera Negron and Santos Rosario in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He is survived by his step-children Beatrice Neste, William Neumar (Nancy), Mike Neumar (Carol), Susan Umbach and Danielle Bishop, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. He was predeceased by his beloved wives Anna and Marianne Rosario and his loving son Miguel Rosario, Jr., and step-daughter Patricia.
He worked as a cashier for Western Union in the '50s and '60s. He was a professional painter for May's Department Store in Long Island, New York until 1974 when he moved to Port Richey, FL. where he started his own business painting homes in the area. He had a wonderful reputation for quality work and color matching. He enjoyed making rosary beads and he was a member of the Rosary Society at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Hudson, FL. where he was a long time member and a former usher. He was also an affiliate member of the Secular Order of Fransicans.
There will be a visitation the North Meadowlawn Funeral Home in New Port Richey on Friday September 24, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Hudson, FL. on Saturday September 25, 2010 at 9:00 .am. a committal service will follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in New Port Richey, FL.
