

New Port Richey, Florida after a long struggle with multiple medical problems.
He was born in Bronx, New York. The family moved to New Rochelle, NY when he was
a teenager. His parents Dorothy and Peter A. Young precede him in death
Peter attended Westchester Community College and Iona College both in NY.
He enlisted in the Naval Reserve as a Sea Bee in New Rochelle, NY he did two years
active duty was in Viet Nam from 1966 to 1967. He remained in the reserves for a total
of 39 years reaching the rank of Commander.
After retiring from Texaco in NYC he formed OCI.
Peter’s desire to have a family was fulfilled by a very special young lady who always
made Peter a part of her life; Hannah and along with her husband Michael gave Peter the
blessing of his grand daughters. His extended family members were Hannah, Michael,
Ella and Ellie.
I know I will miss our long chats, visits, and all of the guidance even the coupon lectures.
I will smile to myself when I think of the times we spent together either driving around,
dining or going to doctors or even hospital stays. Peter was a blessing, and a wonderful
friend.
