Rosalie D'Angelo, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024 at the age of 97. Born in New York City in 1927, and living most of her life in The Bronx and Yonkers, NY, Rosalie's vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Rosalie and her loving husband Stephen moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida in the mid-1980s, where she continued to enrich the lives of her family and friends with her warmth and kindness. She was predeceased by Stephen, who passed away in 2018. Together they shared a lifetime full of joy, including their mutual passions for travel and dance, which brought them immense happiness.
Rosalie is survived by her devoted daughters, Juliet and Linda, and her beloved son, Robert. She will also be missed dearly by her stepchildren, Stephen, Michele, and Danielle. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Eric, Kathryn, Noelle, and Michael, as well as her great-grandchildren, Ben, and Colby Rose, who was named in her honor. Rosalie’s presence was a beacon of love and joy, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
Rosalie's gentle spirit, unwavering love, and zest for life will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation for Rosalie will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A celebration of life will occur Monday, September 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A committal services will follow immediately after services at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison St, New Port Richey, FL 34653.
