Born in Pittston, Pa he was an Army veteran of WWII and retired as an accounting manager for General Motors Corp. in Detroit, Mi. He was a volunteer at Ruth Eckerd Hall for over thirty years.
He is predeceased by his parents; Louis and Concetta Benfante, brother James and sisters Connie, Charlotte, Sarah and Lucille. Survived by sister Rose Marsolino and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held October 26th, 1 pm at the funeral home.
