Shawn M. Lauer

Shawn Michael Lauer, 45, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on August 7, 2021. Shawn was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank F. Lauer and Peggy S. Osborne on December 26, 1975 Shawn was caring, kind, generous, compassionate and loving. He loved his 3 sons Hunter, Gaige, and Blake and they were his world. He was employed for over 25 years at Haller’s Automotive as an Auto Technician and he enjoyed his job immensely. In Shawn’s free time, he fished, played corn hole, watched the Cleveland Browns and the Bucs and enjoyed being on the water.

Shawn is survived by his Father Frank F. Lauer (Patty) of Canton, North Carolina; his mother, Peggy S. Osborne, of Clearwater, Florida; son, Hunter E. Lauer (U.S. Army), Gaige and Blake Lauer of Trinity, FL; brother, Frank G. Lauer (Veronica) of Vicenza, Italy; Nephew, Massimo Lauer of Vicenza, Italy; grandmother, Ester Pageler of Clearwater, FL; Uncle and Aunt, Terry and Ellen Reppa of Seven Hills, Ohio; Uncle and Aunt, Greg and Sherry Haller of New Port Richey, FL; Aunt, Denise Ballachino of Holiday, FL and many beloved cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held at Meadowlawn Funeral Home from 11-12pm on Saturday, August 14th in the Celebration Hall. A Funeral service will be held at Meadowlawn at 12pm following the visitation.
