Timothy Louis Sass, Sr., age 63, was called home to be with the Lord on October 20, 2025, surrounded by the love and prayers of his family. A devoted husband, father, and Papa, Tim lived a life full of joy, service, and faith.
Born on February 2, 1962, Tim was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ralph and La Verne (Keuper) Sass. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Billie Jo Sass, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering love. Together they raised three children: Tim Jr., Victoria, and Joshua, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength. Tim was a proud Papa to his cherished grandchildren, Gage, Jacob, and Sierra.
Tim retired as a mechanical designer, a career that reflected his sharp mind and meticulous nature. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life—riding his motorcycle, cruising in his 1973 Corvette, golfing, relaxing in the pool and jacuzzi, and spending time at the beach. He especially loved sitting on the porch of the cottage at Simonton Court in Key West, soaking in the peace and beauty of one of his and Billie’s favorite places.
A man of deep faith, Tim was often found reading his Bible and sharing his wisdom with those around him. He had a great sense of humor, a generous heart, and a strength rooted in his beliefs.
Tim was a proud Esteemed Leading Knight at the Elks Lodge, where he dedicated countless hours volunteering and building lasting friendships. His commitment to service and community made him a beloved friend and respected member of the Lodge.
His love extended to his furry companions—his pets Tessa and Chloe, his grandpup Theo, and his grandkitties Biscotti and Pumpkin—who brought him comfort and laughs.
Tim will be remembered for his willingness to always lend a helping hand in times of need, his quiet force of strength and wisdom, and the way he made everyone smile. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Services to honor Tim’s life will be held on Monday, October 27 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens:
Visitation: 2:00 PM
· Remembrance and Service: 3:00 PM
· Graveside Service and Burial: 3:30 PM
· Celebration of Life Reception: 4:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, the family lovingly requests that donations be made to the Elks Lodge #2284 Roof Fund in honor of Tim, as he believed that by supporting the lodge’s needs, more could be given to the Elks’ charitable work.
