

Jean had just celebrated her 90th birthday on Wednesday, July 9. She was born in 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Victor and Marietta Ciandella. She grew up in Jersey City and later married and moved to Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
Known for her mad basketball skills, resilience, and infectious laughter, Jean brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. She was a phenomenal cook—her famous gravy and meatballs will be missed dearly.
Jean is survived by her 4 children, 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, two sisters, and three beloved grand-dogs. She was preceded in death by her five siblings and her husband of 56 years.
A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00–2:00 p.m. Eastern at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, Florida.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice workers, neighbors, friends, and all those who called to wish her a happy birthday.
